CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
While beautiful and pleasing to the eye, Kensington Vertical Window Shadings
are designed to be durable, easily cared for and easily cleaned. Regular
feather dusting or vacuuming will keep them looking new for years.
Spills and stains can be lightly blotted with a cloth or damp sponge. Stains
that are more difficult may require gentle washing in water with milk soap. For
this, remove the vane from the window. Remove the polyester film insert and
submerge, soak and rub lightly. Lay flat or place back in the window to dry.
The sheers and vanes can be ironed if they become wrinkled. Remove the vane
from the window and then remove the insert from the vane. Iron the sheer fabric
at a level three or "polyester" setting on a household iron. Iron the vane at a
level two or "silk" setting. Replace vane insert and replace the vane in the window.
The soft sheers may be steamed the head of the steam machine may be in contact
with the sheers for up to three minutes. The vanes can also be ultrasonically
cleaned.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
The Kensington Vertical Window Shadings will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided
that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the window shadings
installation instructions. The limited lifetime warranty is extended to the
original purchaser only, in the original window for which it was intended.
The warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents,
alterations, misuse, or failure to follow printed instruction son installation,
cleaning and care, or repairs. This warranty also does not apply to conditions
resulting from normal wear and tear.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES
OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall Kensington or its licensed fabricators or
distributors be liable for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY OTHER
DAMAGE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.
